Fundraiser Service: More Details

• Your custom online fundraising store will be available for your choice of 2 weeks to 2 months.

• Your fundraising store will include your organization’s name, logo, 2 matching colors, and up to 5 images of your organization, including people. We can also use stock images per request.

• If you already have items to sell, we can add those to the store, as long as you have a clear distribution method.

• If you want items designed for you (for example, with your logo, a particular Bible verse, or a graphical concept), we'll design up to 3 for you and apply them to 5 products of your choice.

• You can also choose up to 15 items from our product catalog.

• People can either donate money, purchase listed items, or both. Items are shipped directly to buyers, saving your organization time and money by receiving and distributing products (the only exception is if you choose to also sell and distribute your own in-house items).

• Products can be shipped to US or Territories addresses only, but anyone anywhere can make a monetary donation online.

• When buyers purchase items, they pay ground shipping costs and applicable sales tax. We manage the sales tax reporting so you don't have to.

• During Checkout, people can opt-in to your organization’s mailing list. We’ll provide you with the list of names and emails at the end of the fundraiser.

• Your fundraiser can also include participant tracking if you give us a list of names. When people checkout, they can select who they’re buying and/or donating on behalf of. This allows you to give recognition to your top fundraisers.

    Communications

    • Your fundraising store’s unique link and QR code will be sent to you to share freely within your organization.

    • We’ll provide a suggested email sales template for your organization.

    • We’ll provide a PDF with the link, QR code and highlight 3 products for sale so that you can print as many copies as you’d like, plus a social media graphic.

    • During the fundraiser, we recommend reaching out frequently to remind people to share the link with family and friends to ask for their support.

    • Upon request, we can provide full email marketing services for an extra fee. However, contributors tend to favor personal email requests and social media posts.

      View Your Results in Real-Time

      • You’ll get a staff account for your online fundraising store so that you can independently view all purchases and donations received during your fundraiser at any time. Nothing is hidden.

      • You’ll receive your Total Proceeds within 2 weeks after the fundraiser is finished. This gives us time to run the reports and verify that there were no payment processing issues.

        Set-Up Time

        It’s fast! After you determine your products and send us your logo, colors, and images, your store will be ready in 4 - 10 business days depending on the volume of products you've requested.

          How Much You’ll Make

          There are no limits to what you can make. Our fundraiser scales whether you want to raise hundreds or tens of thousands of dollars. Research shows that the median amount raised from school fundraisers in the 2022-23 school year was $8,500.

          A recent fundraiser we managed for a high school team with only 28 participants raised over $5500 with an average of $196 raised per participant.

          Your results will vary based on the number of participants, goal-setting, communication consistency, how well your cause is explained, time of year and other factors.

          Keeping It Simple | Fees

          The reality is that after all of the fine print and basic “add-on” services, many product fundraising companies take 30 - 50% of your proceeds overall. Research shows that 35% is considered a “good" rate in 2024.

          Our maximum rate is 20%, which drops to 18% if your fundraiser nets over $8k (many do). Here's how it works:

          • Commitment Fee: To ensure your organization’s commitment to the fundraising project and our fast set-up time, we require an $80 non-refundable Commitment Fee for a standard fundraiser (2 - 3 weeks) and a $150 non-refundable Commitment fee for a longer fundraiser (4 to 8 weeks). Shorter fundraisers with a sense of urgency can perform better, so most organizations choose 2 - 3 week fundraisers. If your fundraiser nets $3000 or more, we’ll deduct this from our Service Fee. 

          • Service Fee: Our low 18% - 20% fee pays for all of the behind-the-scenes work and account management including:

          • Building your custom fundraising store eCommerce site (100+ steps) including loading products with descriptions and images

          • Managing your wording, graphics, and images for the site

          • Managing and/or creating custom graphics for products

          • All order processing and technology maintenance throughout the fundraising term

          • Participant tracking and reports

          • Template development (flyers and social posts)

          • Sales tax management
